The only thing that bothers me about his blog is that he says he’s “realistic about politics,” but being realistic means he must understand the U.S. two-party system, that it is indeed not democratic, and that even if he doesn’t support a candidate, one of the evils will succeed in gaining the White House, choosing to push certain legislation in one direction or another through pressurizing those who are SUPPOSED to make the rules or interpret them, and will ultimately be the face of the country he lives in. It’s the cliche lesser of two evils dilemma. So, realistically, he might as well pick one he’d rather have over one he wouldn’t, just so we’re not stuck with catastrophe (I won’t say which one catastrophe is, because I honestly still agree with the blog and this government uselessness).
